On December 11, 2021, the Mountaineer Middle varsity and junior varsity teams wrestled in the South Harrison Duals Tournament. This tournament included 9 teams total. The varsity won first place in the competition and received a trophy for their efforts. Junior varsity took second place. Way to go Mountaineers!
On Tuesday, December 13, 2021, the Mountaineers traveled to Buckhannon Upsher for a match. The coaches would like to give a big shout to Ryder and Troy for putting the team before themselves and leading the way to three more Mountaineer victories. MMS beat Buckhannon JV 90-0, Buckhannon varsity 75-6 and North Marion 90-0. The coaches would also like to recognize Nico, Max, and Brody for a job well done.
